Kid's DK-weight Purple/Gray Socks

Yarn:

Cleckheaton Country 8 ply (DK), [100% wool (machine washable)],
color: 0216 (gray), 2181 (purple)

Comments:

This yarn made nice cozy socks, but they didn't last long since they were 100% wool. They wore out in the heel and ball of the foot rather quickly. The ball of the foot was so far gone that I just ripped it out and reknit it with some leftover sock yarn. I was able to duplicate stitch the heel with another sock yarn.

These socks started out purple and gray, but they have been massively patched.
