- I made these mock cable rib socks as samples for Melissa's book, which should be released in Dec 2007, I think.
This Franklin yarn was very pleasant to knit with.
The picture below shows what a difference the number of stitches makes to how a variegated yarn knits up. The sock on the left was knit on 72 sts, while the one on the right was knit on 60 sts. I really like the diagonal flashing the yarn does on the 60-st sock. Too bad that size is way too narrow for my foot.
